2015 Was a Good Year for Art Awards

Won “Best of Show” in the Pinery, viagra 100mg Colorado Art Show which was held in Parker, ambulance Colorado last fall. In addition, received 2nd Place in the City of Lone Tree, Colorado Art Expo which was held in November.

Had to take a breather from Gessoing and strike out on a side project.  Here is an image to pique your curiosity.  It will be HEAVY.  It will be BOLD.  It will be ABSTRACT.

Time for Gesso canvas prep.  I apply with a disposable brush.  It dries quickly, hospital thumb have to move fast!P1050322

              Here is the glue I use to attach the raw canvas to the Masonite.  Work it out nice and smooth.

Once I have completed the painting base with Masonite, I sand out the holes the nails make and cover the board with white Elmer’s glue.  Moving quickly I have to place the pre-measured canvas over the base and work out the bubbles to make the surface flat while wrapping around the edges.  Once dry, it will be ready for Gesso.
